SDCDP: San Diego County Democratic Party Endorses Filner for Mayor

Members of the San Diego County Democratic Central Committee unanimously endorsed Congressman Bob Filner for Mayor of San Diego, formalizing the Party’s support in what is sure to be one of the city’s most important and exciting campaign in years.

During a candidate forum, Filner highlighted his vision of San Diego as a 21st-century leader in renewable energy, commerce, and good jobs.

San Diego Democrats for Equality Endorse Bob Filner for Mayor

The San Diego Democrats for Equality endorsed Congressman Bob Filner to be San Diego’s next Mayor.

The SDDE sent a questionnaire to every mayoral candidate and those who responded were invited to participate in the forum. Bob Filner received a 100-percent positive rating on the questionnaire.

While on the San Diego City Council, Filner helped with the creation of the strong LGBT Third Council District. His voting record and long career of activism aligned strongly with the club’s values and goals.
